Vegetarian Fast Food options

Although I love cooking I also enjoy eating out though these days it’s more so getting take out. Lots of restaurants have vegetarian options but if they don’t you can usually hack a menu item to make it vegetarian. Don’t be afraid to ask. Here are my go-to takeout lunch and dinner options I’ve accumulated through the years.

  • Chipotle - veggie burrito with black beans and rice or Sofrita’s burrito with black beans and rice

  • Jason’s deli -Pollo Mexicano baked potato no chicken, Zucchini Garden Pasta, or tomato basil soup (side)

  • Chick-fil-A - Cool wrap no chicken add black beans and corn

  • Panera Bread- Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich with Greek salad

  • Jimmy John’s - veggie sub add hot peppers, oil, and vinegar, onions

  • Burger King- Impossible Whopper cooked in the microwave

  • Thai Restaurant - veggie and tofu Pad Thai or veggie and tofu basil fried rice

  • Vietnamese Restaurant- veggie pho, fresh basil veggie spring roll (side)

  • Chinese Restaurant - vegetable egg foo young (verify gravy is vegetarian)

  • Italian Restaurant - Eggplant Parmigiana, Baked Ziti with marinara sauce, veggie pasta dish

  • Sushi restaurant - veggie tempura roll, veggie roll, sweet potato roll

  • Mexican restaurant - veggie quesadilla, veggie burrito, veggie fajitas, chille rellenos, veggie paella
