Orlando Fav Food Spots
My spring break vacation is over it was wonderful. I enjoyed Orlando, FL to the fullest and thought I would share some of my vegetarian food experiences.
For breakfast, I would recommend Keke’s Breakfast Cafe on Doctor Phillips Blvd. We went there twice for breakfast. My favorite meal was the banana and chocolate chip pancakes with breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. The pancakes are huge you only need one. The service is speedy and the staff is friendly.
My stand-out place for lunch was located in Millenia Mall’s food court. The place is called Chickpeas. Chickpeas is a Mediterranean fast food place that has vegan, and vegetarian options. I got the Vegetarian Mediterranean bowl with hummus, tabouleh, lentils and rice, black olives, and falafel. I also got a side of grape leaves, which if you do note that there’ll be enough to take home. Everything was fresh and delicious.
My favorite meal for dinner was at Uno’s Pizzeria. Now I know this is a chain restaurant but there is no Chicago deep dish pizza in my area so I only have it when I go out of town. I had the Farmer’s market deep dish which has basil pesto, caramelized onions, and roasted eggplant to name a few ingredients. It was delicious and is my new favorite. Uno’s also has some vegan pizza options.
While I was in Disney Springs I stopped at Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew for a sweet treat. I got the S’mores Galore donut which was chocolate, marshmallow fluff, and golden grahams deliciousness. I’m not a big sweets person so I cut it in half and saved it for the next day.
Overall I enjoyed my food experience in Orlando. There are so many more places I want to try. I look forward to exploring more on my next visit.
