Quick and Easy Chick’n and Broccoli Alfredo

Chick’n and Broccoli alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 jar of favorite alfredo sauce if you don’t eat dairy there are a variety of non-dairy options available

  • half a package of Gardein chick’n strips

  • 1 10.8 oz package of frozen broccoli

  • 1 tablespoon of favorite chicken seasoning today I used McCormick Roasted Garlic and Herb

  • half a box mix of chickpea and traditional pasta

  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Directions

  • put a pot of water on to boil and cook pasta per pasta package directions

  • heat oil in a pan on medium-high heat

  • add red pepper flakes

  • add chick’n to pan add chicken seasoning saute per package instructions until golden brown on both sides remove from pan and drain on paper towel

  • add broccoli to the same pan, add Italian seasoning, salt and pepper stir, and cover, stirring occasionally cook for 6 to 8 min

  • while broccoli is cooking cut chick’n pieces in half

  • once broccoli is done mix chick’n and alfredo sauce into the pan with the broccoli

  • Simmer over low heat for 5 min'

  • plate pasta and chick’n alfredo mixture

    Enjoy makes four servings.
