Blueberry Banana Protein Smoothie

blueberry banana protein smoothie

I love a good smoothie, whether using it as a snack or dessert it’s a healthy, quick choice.

Tools needed: Blender. I recommend a Ninja blender to ensure it comes out in a smoothie consistency

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of frozen blueberries

  • 1 ripe banana fresh or frozen (sliced)

  • 1 handful of fresh or frozen spinach or kale

  • 8 ounces of almond or oat milk. I prefer vanilla with no sugar added flavor

  • 1 scoop of vegetarian /vegan vanilla protein powder. I prefer the Garden of Life brand

Directions

  1. Add almond milk and vegetarian protein powder to the blender first.

  2. Add fresh ingredients

  3. Add frozen ingredients

  4. Blend. If using Ninja use the smoothie button

  5. Pour smoothie mixture into an insulated cup and enjoy
